"Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom."— Viktor Frankl
Linda Lunardi — Accredited Counsellor & Psychotherapist
My journey into counselling and psychotherapy has been as much a personal one as a professional one. Like many therapists, I came to this work not only through academic study but through my own experience of navigating life's complexities — loss, change, the search for meaning, and the gradual, sometimes surprising work of knowing oneself.
I hold a humanistic, person-centred foundation at the heart of my practice. I believe that people have an innate capacity for growth and self-understanding. Given the right conditions — safety, warmth, and honest presence — that capacity naturally unfolds. Issues brought to therapy are not problems to be fixed, but invitations for change.
I work in an integrative way, drawing on attachment theory, systemic thinking, and phenomenological awareness. I see people as whole beings: body, emotions, mind, and spirit. I approach each person's cultural background, worldview, and spiritual life with genuine curiosity and respect.
I am currently deepening my training in trauma-informed practice, with a focus on how early and complex trauma shapes adult experience.
